Joseph Holt expands estate with the acquisition of new pub the Five Ways
MANCHESTER – Manchester Brewer Joseph Holt has bought the freehold of a pub in Stockport for an undisclosed sum.
The Five Ways Hotel Pub, in the Stockport suburb of Hazel Grove, was previously owned and managed by Spirit Group and now has its future assured with Joseph Holt.
Richard Kershaw, Chief Executive of the brewery and great‐great-grandson of Joseph Holt – who founded the brewery in 1849 – comments: “We are extremely excited about the addition of the Five Ways to the company and this acquisition is part of our on-going plan to positively develop our estate. We are continuing to look to buy pubs throughout the North West.”
