Joseph Holt Launches Mobile App

Joseph Holt takes a giant leap into the world of mobile technology by launching its first ever company app.

Manchester brewery Joseph Holt is the first independent brewery in the North West to create an all-encompassing app that not only showcases the brewery’s varied pub venues but its wide range of beer products through the app in a unique approach. The app developed in partnership with Manchester web agency e3Creative will allow customers to interact and be a part of the Joseph Holt club.

The Joseph Holt app will highlight events throughout its core estate, help customers locate a pub using GPS to bring up the nearest pubs to the customers location, and also has many interactive features that allow customers to not only interact with Joseph Holt but other Joseph Holt customers.

In particular, the in app game Pull the Perfect Pint delivers a fun and engaging experience for any user who has ever wanted to pull their own perfect pint in a pub. The exciting element to this game, is that players in the game will have the fantastic opportunity to win free beer depending on their pulling technique. There’s also a Leader board for those competitive types aspiring to be the master of pulling pints.

If you’re not sure what beer to order, take the Taste Test, an in app feature that allows users to match their taste preference to their perfect Joseph Holt product. The ingenious beer algorithm, will take users through a short survey to find their perfect beer and where they can go to purchase one.

The app also features a beer selfie wall that allows customers to snap a beer or food selfie and upload it to the app gallery allowing interaction between customers across the North West.

In celebration of the brewery winning its third consecutive Gold Medal at the bi-annual International Brewing Awards 2015 for its Black beer, as well as its 2011 win for Crystal lager and again in 2013 for its premium Diamond lager. Joseph Holt has specially crafted a golden ale rightly named Hat Trick to commemorate their win and will be offering the first 1,000 registered download users of its new app, a free bottle to be redeemed in Joseph Holt pubs.
