The Norfolk Arms in Glossop re-opens after extensive refurbishment
The Norfolk Arms in Glossop has re-opened following a £350,000 refurbishment and development programme on Friday 14th April 2017.
The site closed fully at the end of March and has been completely transformed. Upon entering the stunning the Grade-II listed building you are greeted by the aromatic aroma of the stone baked pizza station. Newly installed, the state of the art oven bakes pizzas to perfection, oozing with melted cheese and toppings of your choice the station is sure to be a popular addition to pub. Alongside the pizza station is the decadent ice cream counter, for those with a penchant for the sweeter things in life. Featuring luxurious flavours such as Rum and Raisin and Ferrero Rocher, ice creams can also be taken away so if you don’t have time to stay for the long haul grab an ice cream to go. To accompany the pizza station and ice cream counter the pub also has a daily menu featuring pub classics like Steak and Ale Pie, Fish and Chips and Joseph Holt customer favourites, Hanging Kebabs.
The new Norfolk Arms feels bright, airy and welcoming and offers a wide range of premium spirits, cask ales and of course Joseph Holt award-winning lagers. Booth seating has been added and some booths even have their own TV.
There really is something for everyone at The Norfolk Arms, looking for sport? They have it. Looking for a great traditional pub serving classic hearty food? They got it. Looking for somewhere to have a good drink, sample traditionally crafted ales or be a bit ambitious and go for a new craft lager? Yes, you guessed it - got it too. So be sure to pay the pub a visit, you won’t be disappointed.
Area Manager, Sean Whittaker said “The Norfolk Arms is a great pub in a great location. The building itself is so beautiful we were very careful to remain to the traditional feel of the whole area. The refurbishment was extensive but the hard work has paid off. The new site looks remarkable and we had an outstanding opening weekend. We are looking forward to the year ahead, the site has always been successful but I can’t wait to see what The Norfolk Arms can achieve since it had the refurbishment it deserved.”
The Norfolk Arms also offers accommodation onsite with en-suite rooms. If you would like to book accommodation please contact the site directly on 01457 851 940 and for more information on facilities, entertainment and opening times - please visit http://www.joseph-holt.com/pubs/view/norfolk-arms.
