Christmas Holiday Menu

The menu is available from 1st December to 23rd December 2006 between 12:00pm and 8:00pm (times may vary between establishments). Price £14.50 per person

To Begin

Smoked haddock rarebit
Served on a toasted potato cake
Winter vegetable broth
Topped with a cheesy herb croute
Duck and orange paté
Served with toasted brioche
Pan fried mushrooms and leeks
Cooked in a creamy garlic sauce and served on a crostini

Main Course

Home roast local turkey crown
Served with all the traditional trimmings
Goat’s cheese and cherry tomato en croute
Salmon fillet encrusted with blackened Cajun spices
Served with a tomato and coriander compot
Pan fried chicken supreme
Filled with a black pudding and tarragon mousse
Roast beef
Served with a chestnut mushroom and red wine gravy

Christmas Day Menu

The sitting for a six course meal on Christmas Day is 12:30pm and is priced £39.50 for adults and £17.25 for under 12’s

Spicy parsnip soup
Topped with parsnip crisps and crème fraiche
Half a melon
served with fruits of the forest
Seafood melange en croute
Cooked in a creamy white wine, garlic and dill sauce and served in a puff pasty case
Smoked duck breast
Served with tomato chutney

10oz rib eye steak
Served with a quenelle of chicken liver paté and a port gravy
