Our Beers

We've been brewing beer on the same premises in Manchester since 1849. Plenty have come and gone but we like to think a few things never change, such as using the finest ingredients and sticking to our time-honoured, well-honed brewing techniques.

Our brewery uses the latest technology to ensure every batch is of the highest quality, meaning you get the same standard of beer each time and wherever you are. Our range caters for tastes across all formats including keg, cask and bottled beer.

You have over 120 Holt's pubs across the North West to get your hands on our brew, plus many more venues across Greater Manchester and further beyond stocking our famous beer.

For our 170th year, we're creating six new, specially brewed cask ales to celebrate the story of our six generations so far. Get all the information on our 170 Cask Ale page.

Seasonal beers

We know that today’s beer drinkers enjoy a variety of different tastes. We are confident our core range of cask, keg, lager and bottled beers deliver a truly extensive range.

However we do enjoy producing seasonal ales that reflect the time of year. Our seasonal ales each provide a distinctive taste to complement our permanent cask ales.

So why not pop in and enjoy a pint of something different.
