Manchester Bee Glass

The idea of the Manchester worker bee as a symbol of the city dates back to the Industrial Revolution – factories were often referred to as beehives because workers were so industrious. In 1842 the bee was first officially incorporated into the Manchester coat of arms.

Almost 180 years later and we’ve created this glass to turn our golden beer into the immortal bee to pay tribute to our proud roots in the city.

The Manchester Bee Glass goes hand in hand with our new keg beer Northern Hop. If you’re in a pub that has Northern Hop on draught, you’ll get a nice, crisp pint served in a bee glass.

Our bee glasses will soon be available to order online. Please watch this space for more information on how you can get your hands on your own Manchester Bee Glass – perfect to use at home or ideal as a gift.

We’ve combined two of Manchester’s most iconic symbols – beer and the bee – to create the Manchester Bee Glass.

We just need to check you’re 18 or over?
