We’re thrilled to present an opportunity for a dynamic Retail Partner to fill the position at The Ape and Apple in Manchester City Centre.  We are looking for a dynamic operator who will maximise the business potential and drive trade to deliver its potential of over £1 million in sales per year.

Combining a stunning city centre pub, award winning Joseph Holt ales, with a quality Food menu, we are looking for an operator/couple with an extensive background in running pubs with high volume experience, to take on this exciting project to deliver a pub both the company and the city can be proud of.

With over 175 years of brewing expertise under our belts, Joseph Holt prides itself on brewing the perfect pint, and we’re seeking an energetic General Manager/Retail Partner to champion our beer.

This will be a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Operator (single or couple) who have a proven sales building background, high standards and a passion for Joseph Holt beer and pubs.

• Impeccable standards and passion to be the best pub possible.
• Operating a high volume wet (£15k+ per Week)
• Managing and promoting an extensive events calendar alongside a busy function trade.
• Being able to drive a business that appeals to ALL Age groups.
• Leading and developing a high performing team of 15+ employees
• A significant appetite to create a strong social media presence that is befitting a city centre site.
• Exceeding charity fundraising targets
• Experience of outperforming budgeted sales & trading profit.
• A strong level of food experience is preferred.
