FROM BEER TO BON VOYAGE: DRINKERS IN JOSEPH HOLT PUBS OFFERED CHANCE TO WIN TOP HOLIDAY FOR THE PRICE OF A PINT
Drinkers across Joseph Holt pubs will be in with the chance to go on a four figure holiday for the price of a pint.
The Manchester-based brewery owns 127 pubs across the North West. Customers ordering a pint of its Spin Doctor lager at many of these venues will receive a coupon, with one lucky winner set to receive a £2,000 travel voucher for a trip of their choice anywhere in the world.
The competition celebrates the fact Spin Doctor has previously been named by industry giants as the best lager in the world after clinching a gold medal at the International Brewing Awards in 2024 – the so-called Oscars of the brewing industry.
Said Phil Parkinson, head brewer at Joseph Holt: “Given Spin Doctor has been given a global stamp of approval we want to give our customers the chance to take a spin anywhere in the world for the price of a pint.”
Spin Doctor was originally launched under a bootleg banner before quickly becoming a favourite among younger drinkers – a popularity reflected in eye-catching cyan, magenta, yellow, and black cans. The lager boasts a fresh herbal aroma, with vibrant floral notes and natural undertones that deliver a perfectly balanced, crisp flavour. At 4.5% ABV, it`s also a thirst-quencher which is why it is especially popular now that spring is here and the summer months are on the way.
Last summer saw record levels of UK travel, with more than 90 million passengers passing through British airports between June and September, flying to thousands of destinations worldwide.
Added Phil Parkinson: “Whether you fancy cruising the Greek islands, an adventure holiday in the Icelandic wilderness, exploring cultural capitals, or simply a flop and drop sun-soaked escape, one lucky winner will receive £2,000 towards their dream trip. And they get a crisp pint of Spin Doctor too. So that glass of beer could lead to a true bon voyage.”
