Mort Arms
Following a stunning 2026 refurbishment, The Mort Arms brings a clean, fresh look to a classic Tyldesley town-centre pub. The pub was purchased by Edward Holt II in 1932 and rebuilt the following year, it still keeps its traditional features like the original wood panelling, etched glass, and tiled fireplaces, but now in a modern and welcoming space.
The main oak bar offers a solid line-up of well-kept cask ales, keg beers, and bottled drinks, as well as a full selection of spirits and wines. Whether you are stopping by for a quick drink or meeting up with a group, there is plenty of choice behind the bar.
It is also one of the best spots in town to watch live sports, with TV screens placed all around showing Sky and TNT Sports. The pub hosts local darts and dominoes teams and caters for private events and parties. Feel free to get in touch with the team to find out more or pop in to see the new look…
