Terms and Conditions
1. Who Can Play
It’s FREE to enter and open to UK residents aged 18 or over.
Strictly one entry per person. Duplicate entries will be disqualified.
2. Deadline
Entries must be submitted before kick-off of the first match at 8pm (BST) on June 11 2026.
3. How to Win & The Underdog Tiebreaker
You score points for correctly predicting the Tournament Winner, Golden Boot, and Golden Glove.
If entrants are tied on points at the end of the tournament, the Underdog Team breaks the tie using a weighted scale:
We look at how far your underdog progressed relative to how highly they were rated by FIFA rankings before the tournament.
A massive outside team going far (e.g. a bottom-ranked team reaching the Quarter Finals) will beat a stronger, mid-tier team reaching the Semi Finals.
If there is still a dead heat after weighing the underdogs, a random draw will choose the winner.
4. Data & Marketing Opt-In
By entering, you agree that Joseph Holt will process your data to administer the sweepstake. If you have opted in to receive marketing, we will also use your details to send you pub news and offers in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
5. The Prizes
Prize is non-transferable and cannot be swapped for cash.
6. Winners
Winners will be emailed within 7 days of the World Cup Final.
