Manchester Brewery joseph holt

Accounts Assistant

Where: Joseph Holt Brewery, Manchester, M3 1JD

We’re looking for an Accounts Assistant to join our Finance team on a permanent contract in a role designed to develop over time.

About the role

This is a varied, hands-on finance role supporting both core ledger processes and our Public House operations. Initially, you’ll assist the Purchase Ledger and key reconciliation duties, while gradually developing into broader and month-end and finance responsibilities.

You’ll work closely within the Finance team, gaining exposure to multiple areas of the business and building the skills needed to move into a more responsible role in the near future.

With the upcoming implementation of Microsoft Business Central, this is an exciting time to join us. You’ll help shape new processes, reduce manual tasks, and play a key part in modernising our finance function, while working towards taking on greater responsibility as part of planned succession within the team.

This would suit an individual already with an accounting qualification or someone keen to study an accounting apprenticeship or AAT, and we’ll support and fund your qualification.
