Assistant Manager

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Manager to join The Spinners Rest in Ancoats as it undergoes a major refurbishment. This is a rare chance to be part of reopening a pub with a fresh identity, helping to shape its culture, standards, and reputation from day one.
Role overview:
As Assistant Manager, you’ll play a central role in the day-to-day running of the pub. You’ll lead from the front, take ownership of key shifts, support and develop the team, and help drive sales, events, and social media—bringing the pub to life both in-house and online.
Full-time, up to £16 per hour

Interested? Here’s what we’re looking for:
- At least 6 months’ experience as a Supervisor or Assistant Manager in hospitality
- A confident, approachable leader who enjoys motivating and developing a team
- A genuine passion for pubs, people, and delivering excellent beer and service
- Comfortable running shifts independently, including opening and closing the venue
- Organised, proactive, and calm under pressure
- Creative flair for events, promotions, and social media engagement
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and bank holidays
