Black Dog
The Black Dog is a picturesque, country food pub in the Lancashire village of Belmont. Opening its doors as a public house in 1825, the original building was first used as a village courthouse in the 1700s and later as a farmhouse.
Recommended in the Good Pub Guide, the Black Dog offers a great range of pub food alongside well-kept beers and cask ales. Like any good country pub, there are a number of cosy snugs, raised areas, coal fires and traditional features. At the back of the pub there’s a sun-trap beer garden and part-covered courtyard.
Popular with cyclists, dog walkers and hikers, the Black Dog has three en-suite rooms for comfortable overnight stays with superb access to the local countryside. Please visit the Black Dog page on Booking.com for more information, reviews and option to book a stay.
