The Railway

The Railway is a small and cosy tavern-like pub tucked away on Lapwing Lane, West Didsbury. Full of atmosphere and community spirit, the Railway has a number of smaller rooms, snug areas within the open-plan lounge area. The pub is a popular and friendly choice for all, even the dog.

The central wood-panelled bar serves a range of beers, lagers and cask ales on tap, plus a great selection of bottled beer and premium spirits. Carrs Pasties have recently been installed and the pub often holds tasting menu evenings with local businesses in Didsbury. Proove Pizza is also available to order and have delivered direct to your pub table until 8.45pm. Carrs Pasties are also available to buy hot from the bar all day, every day.

The Railway is a top place for live music where you can regularly check out up and coming bands on a monthly basis. It’s also great on match days with a number of large TVs showing Sky and TNT Sports.
