Starkey Arms

Just a five-minute walk from Heywood train station, the Starkey Arms is a friendly, welcoming pub with great beers and packing plenty of entertainment throughout the week.

Alongside its fantastic atmosphere, the pub has a central bar which services the two main large lounges. At the back there’s a great little beer garden with heaters. At the bar you can expect to find a good choice of beers, including real ales, lagers plus a great selection of bottled beer, wines and spirits. If you’re feeling peckish, we serve delicious Carrs Pasties from behind the bar.

There’s always something going on at the Starkey Arms from live music and karaoke at the weekends to live action on Sky Sports and BT on the numerous flatscreens. You can also make the most of the pool table and dartboard.
